Well, I didn't get to develop anything too great to blog with. I found a site that seems up to my expectations though. I will now be using WordPress, my url will be at: http://cookla.wordpress.com
I was able to download an app on my iPhone so that I can update it right from the phone as well as on my desktop.. very cool. I am excited about it and I hope that someone will be interested enough to read it! Please give me feedback so I know that I'm not alone out here! I promise I'll try to keep it interesting. |

So, I finally pushed my new website live. I don't know if I was ready or not, but that is another story! What this means is that I want to stray away from livejournal and concentrate on developing my own blog software. What I have up now is basic, but it will grow.

So, my spring break for 2008 comes to a close and it is back to reality.. For another 7 weeks at least. The countdown begins.
Anyway, I had a good break; Cory and I went up to Rockland for the day on Thursday, then we went down to Philadelphia for a couple of days. We ate some cheese steaks, went to some museums, got to see Steve, and did a ton of walking! It was a really good trip! We had a really nice hotel, great weather, and got to spend some good time with Steve, who I miss so much.

This is a pretty easy one, but fun none the less:
You have a total of nine coins and a balance scale (As illustrated above). One of the coins is a counterfeit, which differs from the real coins because it is slightly heavier (For example, we could say that all 8 real coins weigh 2oz each and the counterfeit ways 4oz). Prove that you can find the counterfeit with only two rounds of weighing.

The age of a ship plus the age of its boiler is 49 years. If the ship is twice as old as the boiler was when the ship was as old as the boiler is now, how old are the ship and boiler?

If you would have told me three months ago that this guy would shut down Tom Brady and the "unstoppable" Patriots, I probably would have laughed and said "I wish". Who would have guessed it? I knew they'd beat Romo and the Cowboys, but I thought Favre would send them home. I hoped they'd send the Patriots home 18-1, but didn't think it could happen. What a super bowl! That game could have been considered theater. |

Sometimes I wonder why it is so hard to delete old photos from stupid websites like Myspace and Facebook. Out with the old and in with the new. I think that I rely too much on photographs to describe who I am to others. Sometimes it can be more accurate then words. But now I am feeling tongue tied. Maybe it's just because I'm getting fat, haha. |

I want to keep some sort of internet journal. I don't know if I really want to use this website, however it is the most convenient for me right now. I would like to write my own script in the coming months, but for now, it is livejournal. My main goal is to keep myself updated and on track with my own projects, share my projects with others, and to help keep in touch with everyone I am not keeping in touch with. Here's to a new beginning! |
